Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the need to establish the brand value of the Global Skill Park and ensure all seats are filled. He directed that an extensive promotional campaign be launched to highlight the technical courses offered, focusing on their utility and employability. He stressed that skill training should align with industry demands and involve the private sector’s collaboration in providing training to youth. Additionally, he called for the availability of ITIs in every development block to enhance access.
Addressing a review meeting of the Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment Department at Samatv Bhavan, CM Yadav expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of ongoing programs and plans. He urged that measurable goals and timelines be set for youth skill development, entrepreneurship, and employment initiatives, ensuring impactful outcomes.
Highlighting opportunities in sectors requiring expertise in German and Japanese languages, CM Yadav instructed the department to establish adequate training provisions for high-demand languages. He also called for connecting technical universities and private industrial units to offer practical training to youth, enabling industries to access skilled human resources while also providing local employment opportunities to young people.
