Bhopal: A 10th class student in Bhopal dies of suicide by hanging herself. No suicide note has been found, due to which the reason for the suicide could not be ascertained. The police are investigating the matter.
The incident took place in the shed area behind the Ashoka Garden police station. The student’s father Mehtab Khan said, “When I returned home from work on Saturday night, my daughter Zikra Khan (18) gave me food. After this, she took money from me to buy something. After bringing groceries from the grocery store, she sat with me for some time. Then she went to another room of the house. When she did not come out for a long time, I called out to her, but did not get a response.”
When I peeped through the window, I saw that my daughter was hanging from a noose made of dupatta. I broke the gate and brought her down. Then she was taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead after checking. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem on Sunday afternoon.
