- Child scientists from 6 Gulf countries will also participate
The theme of the National Children’s Science Congress this year is ‘Understanding Ecosystems for Health and Well-being’. The event will inspire children to develop a scientific temper and use innovation to find solutions to societal problems. Several exciting activities and exhibitions will be held during the event, including the Chandrayaan Mission Exhibition, Water Rocketry, Robotics, Hydroponics, Environmental Snakes and Ladders, Cheetah Conservation Exhibition, and folk songs based on scientific awareness. Leading scientists of the country including Dr. Chetan Solanki (IIT Mumbai), Dr. Nand Kumar (AIIMS Delhi), and Dr. Chaitanya Puri (IISER Pune) will interact with the students.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also inaugurate the automation of Varahamihir Astronomical Observatory. With this initiative, common citizens will be able to do astronomical studies at home, which will give Madhya Pradesh a new identity in the field of astronomy. In this, a group of two children selects a local problem with a guiding teacher and presents its solution through a scientific process. This process is based on deep observation, raising questions, making models and finding solutions through experimentation. Bal Vigyan Congress encourages a sense of curiosity and discovery in children and inspires them to think from a scientific point of view and contribute to the development of society. This programme is an excellent platform to realize their imagination and give new dimensions to their creativity.
