Chhattisgarh: 4 burnt alive as car bursts into flames on NH-30

Kanker (Chhattisgarh), July 19 (UNI) Four persons were burnt alive and two injured today when their speeding car — heading here from Keshkal along National Highway 30 — burst into flames after colliding against the railing of a bridge in the vicinity of this district’s Aatur village, police said.

The deceased were identified as Deepak Maravi, Suraj Phalke, Yuvraj Sadi and Hemant Sodi while Preetam Meshram and Prithviraj Salaam were injured. The dead were aged between 19 and 25 years.

The accident occurred at 0100 hrs. Those hurt have been admitted at the District Hospital.
Fire brigade personnel brought the blaze under control. Five friends from Dondra Pal village were coming here to drop a friend.
