Bhopal: An emotional scene from the film Dhurandhar was playing on screen when an unexpected fight broke out inside a city Cineplex. A video circulating on social media shows a scuffle among audience members, creating panic inside the hall. The incident took place at the Cineplex in Ashima Mall, situated in the Misrod police station area.
According to Misrod police station in-charge Ratan Singh Parihar, the incident occurred during a Monday show. A group of young men, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, were disturbing the atmosphere by continuously whistling and creating noise during the movie. Families seated behind them objected to their behaviour, leading to a heated exchange. The argument soon escalated into physical confrontation between the two groups.
Despite the viral video, no complaint has been lodged by any viewer so far. The station in-charge stated that the police cannot initiate formal action solely on the basis of the video. He added that appropriate steps will be taken once a complaint is filed by the Cineplex management or any of the parties involved.
