Chand Dekh Lena song from ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’ released

Mumbai, March 19 (UNI) The makers of “Maatrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace” have unveiled the evocative track ‘Chand Dekh Lena’, featuring Bollywood star Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh.

The song beautifully depicts the emotional significance of the moon, which is a big part of both Eid and Karwa Chauth. While the sighting of the moon on Eid is a symbol of celebration and union, on Karwa Chauth it signifies love, waiting and trust. ‘Chand Dekh Lena’ weaves together these two traditions through emotions and hope.

The film’s title track, ‘Maatrubhumi’, was a huge hit, garnering over 50 million views. Then came the song ‘Main Hoon’ on Valentine’s Day and now this new song has further fueled fans’ excitement about the film’s story and music.

Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, this song is a throwback to Bollywood’s old and true love stories. It beautifully depicts the emotional journey of a soldier juggling duty and relationships. Chitrangada Singh’s character in the video showcases the courage and patience of a soldier’s wife as she waits for her husband (Salman Khan) to return home from a border post. The song salutes the strength of families who stand rock solid behind those who protect the nation.

In a bid to innovate in the world of music, Salman Khan, maintaining his tradition of giving a big break into mainstream Bollywood, has given a chance to new talent with this song. ‘Chand Dekh Lena’ is sung by young singers Nihal Tauro, known for his spiritual bhajans and kirtans and Ankona Mukherjee.

The film was originally titled “Battle of Galwan,” but has now been changed to “Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.” This change was made to reflect the deep emotion behind the film’s story and its message of humanity in the midst of war.

Mounted by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film promises to offer a true glimpse of bravery, sacrifice and the struggle to overcome adversity.
