Bhopal: Central Group India has announced two major initiatives under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for the people of Madhya Pradesh. Addressing the media, Dr. Nitin Verma, CMD of Central Group India, revealed that all branches of the Central Group of Hospitals (CGH’s) in the state will now offer free blood sugar level tests every day from 8 AM to 10 AM.
Dr. Verma emphasized that this initiative aims to promote early detection and awareness of diabetes, which is a growing concern across the country. The service will be available to all, ensuring wider access to preventive healthcare.
In a socially uplifting step, the group also announced a special financial incentive for families celebrating the birth of a girl child. As part of this scheme, Rs 5,000 will be provided to the mother of the newborn girl at any CGH branch in Madhya Pradesh.
Dr. Verma said the initiative is a small but meaningful effort toward encouraging the acceptance and celebration of girl children and promoting gender equality. Both schemes reflect the group’s commitment to health, welfare, and inclusive development in the region.
