Bhopal: A grand Garba Festival was held at Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), showcasing the vibrant spirit of Indian culture. The event was graced by the presence of Chancellor Santosh Chaubey, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ravi Prakash Dubey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, and Registrar Dr. Sangeeta Johri.
Students and faculty members participated enthusiastically in this cultural festival, which was organized with the worship and blessings of Goddess Durga.
Hosted under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club, the Garba Festival aimed to promote unity and harmony while preserving Indian culture and traditions. During the event, students dressed in traditional attire presented captivating performances of Garba and Dandiya, creating a festive atmosphere. Participants embraced the rich traditions of Indian culture, conveying messages of unity and brotherhood.
The program was successfully conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sheetal Gulati, Dean of Student Welfare. Cultural Coordinator Dr. Jitendra Ahir and Faculty Coordinators Sharon Master and Durga Verma played key roles in the program’s preparations.
Adding to the festive spirit, special food stalls were set up by the university faculty under the theme of “Taste of India.”
