Celebrating 50 golden years of official Hindi

  • Creative logo design competition at Manav Sangrahalaya

Bhopal: Marking 50 glorious years of Hindi as India’s official language, the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) in Bhopal recently hosted a vibrant logo design competition. This initiative, under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs, saw enthusiastic participation from museum officials and staff.

The creative challenge was to visually represent Hindi’s evolution, its growing digital footprint, and the aspirational “Vision 2047.” Participants crafted compelling and meaningful logos, showcasing their artistic flair. These digital designs will be submitted to the Ministry.

Organizers Shri Rajendra Jharia and Ms. Seema Khitoliya emphasized the competition’s role in promoting linguistic awareness and highlighting Hindi’s strong presence across diverse fields. Senior artists Lalit Bagul and Vishal provided invaluable guidance on logo design principles and techniques.

IGRMS Director Prof. Amitabh Pandey announced that the winning logo, selected from entries nationwide, will be showcased by the Ministry, and its creator honored. He also unveiled a year-long calendar of events at the museum celebrating Hindi’s significant milestone, underscoring that this competition was a creative tribute to the language’s rich heritage.
