CBSE conducts surprise inspections in 10 schools in six states and one UT

New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) In a coordinated effort to ensure adherence to educational norms, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted surprise inspections in 10 schools across six states including Assam, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Odisha and the Union Territory of Delhi today.

In a statement CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta said ten separate teams were deployed, each comprising a CBSE official and the principal of a Board-affiliated school. “All the inspections were executed in a synchronised manner at the same time in a short window to ensure that the surprise element remains intact so as to get accurate information about working and operations of the schools, which were inspected on their respective dates of inspection.”

The primary objective of the surprise inspections was to probe, scout out and ascertain whether the schools were functioning in compliance with the Board’s norms and are not enrolling non-attending students while maintaining the academic and physical infrastructure in the school.

CBSE warned that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the inspection teams. The Board reiterated its commitment to maintaining high educational standards and emphasized that strict steps will be taken in cases of any policy violations.

These included; International School (Guwahati, Assam), Spring Dale International School ( Beharbari Charali, Assam), Rajindra Public School (Delhi), Shri Ram Global School (Whitefield, Karnataka), Sanskar Public School (Naugao, Madhya Pradesh), Kiddy’s Corner Higher Secondary School (Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh), Aditya English Medium School (Pune, Maharashtra), Delhi World Public School (Nerul, Maharashtra), Crimson Anisha Global School (Pune, Maharashtra), and Jupiter Public School (Odisha).
