Carmel Convent celebrates vibrant annual fest ‘Mosaic of Hope’

Bhopal: Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Gwalior, celebrated its annual fest “Mosaic of Hope” under EVITA–2025 with remarkable cultural energy and creative expression. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Thaikattil, Bishop of Gwalior, along with Guest of Honour Rev. Sr. Anne Jose and other dignitaries.

Addressing the audience, Rev. Fr. Dr. Thaikattil emphasized value-based education, discipline, and the importance of cultural platforms in shaping confident and responsible young leaders. Rev. Sr. Anne Jose highlighted that learning extends beyond textbooks, and stage performances help children discover and showcase their hidden talents.

Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya Wako explained the theme “Mosaic of Hope,” stating that every child represents a unique color that comes together to create a future filled with unity and compassion.

The fest featured captivating dance, music and theatrical performances on the theme “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” beautifully depicting the passage of time. Traditional folk dances, cultural showcases and contemporary acts captivated the audience throughout the program.

The Annual School Report was confidently presented by Head Girl Rudrapriya Dandotia and Sports Captain Rashi Chauhan, highlighting academic, cultural, sports and social outreach achievements. Meritorious students were also felicitated.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rashi Chauhan, appreciating the guests, staff and students. The celebration reflected the school’s spirit of hope, creativity and collective aspiration, witnessed by parents and faculty in large numbers.
