Bhopal: A tragic accident occurred near Birla Mandir on Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old man and leaving his friend in critical condition. The two friends, identified as Vipin Tiwari, son of Rajesh Tiwari, and Prakash, were returning home after having breakfast when their motorcycle was struck by a car at a turning near the temple.
According to the Arera Hills police, the collision happened when the car, which was approaching from the opposite direction, hit their R1-5 bike. Following the incident, the driver of the car fled the scene. Vipin succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Prakash was rushed to a private hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
Both men were employed at a local hookah lounge and were well-known in their community. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to locate the driver responsible for the accident.
