Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar said that currently two general coaches and 8 sleeper coaches run in trains for the general public. Soon, two more general coaches will be added to all trains.

By December, all trains will have 4 general coaches. While talking to the media at Itarsi station, he said that a large number of people also want to travel in AC coaches, so they will also be taken care of. By December, all trains will be balanced in a 50-50 ratio so that passengers can choose coaches according to their choice. Kumar also talked about the Amrit Bharat Train scheme run by the Railway Board. He said that currently 2 Amrit Bharat trains are running which will be increased soon. We are making about 50 more rakes. All these will be put on the Amrit Bharat Circuit by November.

Running staff alert to prevent railway accidents

CRB Satish Kumar, on the question related to finding different things on the railway track with the intention of derailment, said that such incidents are coming to the fore, which are the subject of investigation and investigation is also going on in them, our running staff is also fully alert, that is why such incidents are being traced before time.

Zonal training center necessary in Nishatpura

On the question related to the Zonal Training Center in Jabalpur Zone, he said that training is necessary. For this, a Zonal Training Center is also being built in Nishatpura. In future also, wherever required, they will definitely be built. At present, it is also necessary to train employees and officers in view of the speed at which technology is changing. Training centers play a big role in training the staff.

Focus of Railways on Itarsi Station

Chairman Kumar said that Itarsi Railway Junction is included in the important junctions of Indian Railways. Currently, the Railway Board has included this station in the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. An amount of Rs 35 crore has also been given for its development. The focus of the railway is to make this station better in terms of passenger facilities as well as grand.

If 25-30 crore more is required for the development of this junction, then the Railway Ministry has no shortage of budget. The amount will be given on priority for that.
