Bhopal: A shocking incident occurred in Gautam Nagar, Bhopal, when a local businessman, Sadiq Khan, 48, was shot by a known criminal, Salman alias Nasha Danger. The accused had been stalking Khan and his son for four days, harboring a grudge after they stopped him from standing in front of their house. Salman, who carries a pistol and is known to sell marijuana and intimidate children, had been warned by the businessman and his son to stay away.
On Wednesday night, Salman spotted Sadiq sitting in his room and fired a shot through the window, aiming for his head. Fortunately, the bullet missed and struck Sadiq’s shoulder instead. He was rushed to Hamidia Hospital, where he is scheduled for surgery.
According to TI Mahendra Singh Thakur, Salman, who now lives in Eintkhedi but often visits the area, has ten previous cases registered against him, including attempted murder, assault, and theft. During interrogation, Salman admitted he wanted revenge for being “insulted” by the businessman and his son. He confessed that he missed his target because he was heavily intoxicated at the time of the attack.
