Bhopal: A high-voltage drama unfolded for about twenty minutes late Sunday night in front of Raju Tea Stall in Fatehgarh, Bhopal. A businessman, who arrived in a Swift car, brandished a licensed revolver in the air while a crowd gathered.
The businessman was reportedly drunk during the altercation. He also assaulted a young man. Police have registered an FIR under Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Head constable Naseem Khan stated that Vinod Sharma lives in Idgah Hills and runs a poultry farm. He owns a licensed revolver. His car’s tire burst while he was passing in front of Raju Stall on Sunday night.
As soon as the car stopped, some young men present at the scene rushed towards him. Being drunk, the businessman thought the mob was coming to attack him. So, he waved his revolver in the air, creating chaos.
Meanwhile, Vinod punched a young man, and people informed the police about the incident. By the time the police arrived, Vinod had already left. An FIR was subsequently filed against Vinod. An arrest notice is being issued for Vinod.
