Bumrah becomes second Indian to 100 T20I wickets

Cuttack, (UNI) Jasprit Bumrah on Tuesday became the second Indian bowler after Arshdeep Singh to claim 100 wickets in T20 Internationals, showcasing his lethal precision and consistency across all three formats of international cricket.
Bumrah, who now has over 100 wickets in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, demonstrated his match-winning prowess once again against South Africa.
In a crucial spell, he dismissed Brevis for 22 off 14 balls, with Suryakumar Yadav taking a sharp catch at cover. The wicket, orchestrated through brilliant captaincy and tactical field placements, highlighted Bumrah’s ability to apply pressure and force mistakes from batters.
Bumrah also joins an elite group of bowlers worldwide, including Lasith Malinga, Tim Southee, Shakib Al Hasan, and Shaheen Afridi, who have reached the 100-wicket milestone in T20 Internationals, cementing his place among the modern greats of the format.
