Bhopal: A group of 18 students of BBA and BA Management undertook an industrial visit to Toyota’s sole automobile manufacturing facility in India (Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd Bangalore). As part of the visit, they were given an overview of Plant No. 1 and the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI-A). They visited the Bangalore manufacturing complex which comprises three plants, with Plant No. 1 primarily dedicated to the production of premium vehicle models such as the Fortuner, Innova Crysta, and Innova Hycross.
Additionally, the visit provided valuable insights into Toyota’s long-term sustainability strategy, particularly its commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Dr Smitha Pillai, Head, Department of Management informed that this visit was arranged by the Department of Management in collaboration with ISB&M, Bangalore under the MoU collaboration activity. The students were accompanied by their mentors Dr Lila Simon and Dr Mahendra Vishwakarma.
