- From roots to rhythm
Bhopal: Department of Science, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) celebrated Nature Day with great enthusiasm under the theme “From Roots to Rhythm: A Cultural Salute to Nature.” The event highlighted the deep connection between culture, creativity, and the environment through a vibrant display of talent and performances.
The programme was inaugurated by Dean Fr Jomi Penithas , Sr rohini and Dr Vandana Yadav, who emphasized the importance of environmental awareness and collective responsibility towards nature. The celebrations began with a graceful Welcome Dance, Earth Rhythms, depicting the harmony of the five elements of nature.
The event featured an array of cultural performances, including Tribal Rhythms – Dance of the Earth, Bollywood Beats – Colors of Culture and Nature, and the traditional Garba – Circle of Life and Nature, each showcasing the interwoven bond between human life and the environment.
BSSS Got Talent
A special attraction of the day was the much-awaited BSSS Got Talent, where students presented diverse performances in dance, music, and art, reflecting creativity, rhythm, and youthful energy. The competition witnessed multiple rounds, with participants leaving the audience enthralled.
