Bhopal: In a vibrant celebration of global culture and youthful energy, the Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) hosted the inaugural ceremony for World Tourism Week 2025. This event set the stage for a week filled with exploration, creativity, and cross-cultural exchange.
The highlight of the day was a college-themed Sports Ramp Walk, where fashion and athleticism combined in a stunning showcase of student talent. The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Fr. John PJ, the Principal of BSSS, who emphasized the significance of tourism in promoting unity, sustainability, and economic growth.
The event began with a cultural welcome, followed by the eagerly awaited ramp walk featuring students from various departments dressed in vibrant, sports-inspired attire. More than just a fashion show, the ramp walk celebrated the connection between tourism and sports, illustrating how both can unite people across borders.
The winners of the ramp walk were Aswin Chaudhari (Yoga) and Gunjan Uikey (Weightlifting). The program continued with additional performances, including songs and group dances presented by the college community, further enhancing the festive atmosphere.
