BSSS hosts capacity building programme on impactful leadership

Bhopal: BSSS Institute of Advance Studies (BSSS IAS), in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh, organized a one-day Capacity Building Programme on “Impactful Leadership for Work-Life Integration.” The event brought together academic leaders from across the state, drawing participation from over 30 higher education institutions and over 80 principals, HoDs, and senior faculty members.

The programme began with an insightful introduction by Dr. Pooja Gupta, Chairperson, MDP, BSSS IAS, who outlined the goal of enhancing leadership capabilities within the higher education ecosystem. This was followed by a warm welcome by Dr. Fr. John PJ, Executive Director, BSSS IAS.

Dr. Mathura Prasad, Additional Director, Department of Higher Education, graced the event as Guest of Honor and lauded the initiative for equipping educators with modern leadership tools. Chief Guest, Prof. Suresh Kumar Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Barkatullah University, delivered an inspiring address on the importance of adaptive and collaborative leadership in today’s evolving academic environment.

 Thought-provoking technical sessions

The programme featured four thought-provoking technical sessions focusing on emotional intelligence, integrated leadership approaches, well-being culture, and mental resilience. During the valedictory session, Dr. Prasad distributed certificates.

 MoUs signed

A key highlight was the signing of MoUs with three reputed institutions from Sehore and Itari, paving the way for future collaborative initiatives. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rev. Dr. Fr. John PJ, reaffirming BSSS IAS’s dedication to nurturing transformational leadership in higher education.
