Bhopal: The Inter-Religious Dialogue Committee of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences conducted an Inter-Religious Dialogue program with an aim of understanding the essence of religion and spreading communal harmony amongst the people. Dr Fr John PJ, Principal- BSSS, welcomed the eminent guests Sumeet Ponda, Syed Ali Quadar Husaini, Fr Jose Prakash and Jaswinder Singh with his words of wisdom.
Sumeet Ponda expressed the fact that performing one’s duties and services towards different people in our lives is the true essence of a Sanatan dharma, while Mr Husaini stated that Islam promotes peace and demands that every woman must be respected. Fr Jose Prakash said that God is one and he stands for love whereas Jaswinder Singh through his speech promoted the removal of differentiation between people.
In short, all religion stands for humanity and not injustice or differentiation against people. As a token of gratitude, the guests were presented with a shawl and memento by Sr Sonia, Vice Principal, and Prof Smitha Pillai, HOD- Management.
