Britain warns against non-essential travel to Israel amid heightened regional tensions

London, Jan 15 (UNI) The British government on Wednesday warned against “all but essential travel” to Israel, citing heightened regional tensions that could lead to travel disruption and other unanticipated impacts.
In updated travel guidance issued by the Foreign Office, British authorities also continue to advise against all travel to certain parts of the region, noting that the deteriorating security environment poses increased risks to travelers, and urge caution across much of the region.
The guidance applies to both Israel and the Palestinian territories and remains under continuous review, said the Foreign Office.
