BJP’s massive 35-Km Tiranga Yatra to sweep through Bhopal

  • One lakh patriots will participate on 14th August

Bhopal: In a spectacular display of patriotism ahead of Independence Day, a massive “Tiranga Yatra” (tricolor flag procession) is set to take place in Bhopal on August 14. Organized by local BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma under the banner of his organization, Karmashri, the procession is being touted as the largest of its kind in the country.

The 35-kilometer-long yatra is expected to draw over one lakh participants on more than 50,000 two-wheelers, all carrying the national flag. The route will traverse the city, starting from the Kolar area and culminating in Sant Hirdaram Nagar. Organizers have promised to decorate the entire city with a tricolor theme, creating a festive and patriotic atmosphere.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and state BJP President Hemant Khandelwal are scheduled to participate in the event. The procession will feature cultural performances, tableaux depicting national heroes, and a vibrant showcase of youth patriotism.

According to MLA Sharma, the yatra is a tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic decisions, including the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Temple, and strong actions against terrorism and Naxalism.
