BJP slams Congress over using distorted map of India during its CWC meeting in Karnataka

New Delhi, Dec 26 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday slammed the Congress over a ‘distorted’ map of India on a banner at the venue of its extended Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Belagavi of Karnataka.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “Congress in Belagavi, the Indian Map they have put up, Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Aksai Chin are not there.

They have done similar things in the past as well…so I want to express my pain…now it has become clear, the power that is trying to break India, Congress’ connection with them has become clear now.”

Sudhanshu Trivedi said when the nation is observing Veer Bal Diwas today, Congress is using “distorted maps” which “aches hearts.”

The BJP spokesperson also accused Congress of “appeasement politics” and asked whether it was done at the instance of George Soros, a Hungarian-American philanthropist, whom the BJP has accused of sponsoring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s critics.

Continuing his criticism, Trivedi accused Congress of attempting to undermine India’s unity and plotting a comeback to power through such divisive tactics.

He assured that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, these conspiracies would fail.

Congress is holding its extended CWC meeting on December 26 and 27 in Belagavi to celebrate the centenary of the 1924 session of the party.
