New Delhi, Sep 2 (UNI) Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and his wife Tashi Doma will be on a visit to India from September 3-6, during which they will visit Gaya and Ayodhya, before coming to Delhi.
They will arrive in New Delhi on Friday evening, when External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will call on them. They depart for home on Saturday.
In Bihar, the Bhutanese PM will visit Rajgir, Nalanda on September 3-4. The Bhutanese PM and the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are to inaugurate the Royal Bhutanese Monastery in Rajgir on September 4, commemorating the Golden Jubilee of bilateral relations.
He is to visit Ayodhya on September 5, and visit the Ram Temple and offer prayers. The Ayodhya administration has beefed up security around the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex to ensure security.
The King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk had visited the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj in February this year and taken a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam and offered prayers. He was accompanied by the UP CM Yogi Adityanath during his visit.
