Held at the DRM Office and the Itarsi Diesel Shed, the initiative featured seminars, drawing competitions, and poster-making sessions designed to empower women employees.
The program focused on educating over 50 female railway staffers about their legal rights, the pivotal role of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and the necessity of a dignified working environment. Key speakers, including Sister Magi Maria from a prominent NGO and senior divisional finance and personnel officers, emphasized that safety and gender equality are non-negotiable standards for the railways.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony for winners of the creative competitions, reinforcing the message of mutual respect through art and dialogue.
