The Bhopal Railway Division has posted an impressive revenue of Rs 141.38 crore for September 2025, reflecting a significant uplift in both passenger and freight services.
Under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, the Commercial Department achieved this strong financial performance through coordinated efforts focused on service quality and strategic revenue generation.
Key Revenue Breakdown
The primary contributor was passenger traffic, which generated Rs 81.83 crore from approximately 32.60 lakh passengers. Freight transportation was the second largest source, bringing in Rs 51.98 crore. Additionally, revenue came from other coaching services (Rs 4.64 crore) and miscellaneous sources (Rs 2.93 crore).
This balanced growth confirms the Division’s success in enhancing both passenger facilities and freight logistics.
