NMC Greenlights Key PG Programs

Bhopal: The Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) has significantly expanded its academic offerings after receiving approval from the National Medical Council (NMC) to launch two new Post-Graduate (PG) courses. The institute will now offer MD programs in Pathology and Immuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion, with two seats allotted to each department.

Enhancing Capacity and Research

Dr. Manisha Shrivastava, Officiating Director of BMHRC, expressed her delight, stating that introducing these courses will enhance the operational efficiency and capacity of the respective departments. These additions build upon eight existing programs, currently training 35 students. The institution also anticipates further expansion, with new courses, potentially in Pulmonology Medicine, expected soon.
