= Acharyaji calls Shramana tradition India’s greatest cultural asset
Bhopal: The Bhoomi Pujan for the new Panchmukhi Sant Bhawan at Shri Shantinath Jinalaya, Jain Nagar, Lalghati, was performed with great devotion in the presence of Acharya Vishad Sagar Maharaj, a satsang assembly, and ten sadhus. The rituals were conducted with sacred chants dedicated to Lord Shantinath, creating an atmosphere of spiritual serenity.
Devotees offered symbolic stones during the ceremony, which was conducted under the guidance of Pandit Rajesh Raj. The proceedings were coordinated by Sunil Publisher. Temple Committee President Nirmal Jain TI and Patron Ajay Jyotish informed that Lord Shantinath was anointed, and Shanti Dhara was performed with prayers for world peace.
Following the puja, the foundation-laying ceremony was completed, and the upcoming Sant Bhawan has been named Shramana Bastika Bhawan.
Temple Committee spokesperson Saurabh Engineer announced that a grand golden idol of Lord Shantinath will also be installed in the near future. The foundation stone was laid by the Punarchak family, represented by Nalin Jain.
In his blessings, Acharya Vishad Sagar Maharaj said that the Shramana tradition is the greatest treasure of Indian culture.
Prominent community members, including Manoj Banga, Pramod Himanshu, Sunil Publisher, Abhishek Jain, Ajit Barfi, Shailesh Steel, and others, were present on the occasion.
