Bhopal: Bhojpuri Bhashi Vikas Sangh has expressed its gratitude to Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav ji for extending the Kamayani Express from Varanasi to Ballia. In the gratitude cum civil felicitation program organized at Narmadiya Bhawan, the patron of the society Shri Ravindra Yeti was felicitated by the society.
On this occasion, Ravindra Yeti said that Bhojpuri society is happy with the extension of Kamayani Express from Varanasi to Ballia and the people of the society are grateful to the Railway Minister. In the coming times too, I will always keep in mind the various demands of the Bhojpuri society. I will work diligently. I always demand land and buildings for the Bhojpuri community, air service from Bhopal to Gaya, Varanasi, Patna, full holiday on Chhath Puja, amendment in the Caste Act and beautification and development of the entire Chhath Ghats of Bhopal city.
On this occasion, the officials of Bhojpuri society unanimously described Shri Ravindra Yeti as a hardworking protector of Bhojpuri society and said that they will always support Shri Yeti. Program coordinator Anjani Singh said that Bhojpuri society has always supported Shri Ravindra Yeti in the last 40 consecutive years. -There was a demand for direct rail service to Ballia (UP) and Chhapra (Bihar) for 50 years. But it was not seriously considered earlier. But in view of our continuous demand, currently under the leadership of Mr. Ravindra Yeti, patron of Bhojpuri Bhashi Vikas Sangh and MIC member in the Municipal Corporation, senior officials and citizens of Bhojpuri society together submitted a memorandum in the above context to the Railway Minister of the Government of India, Mr. Ashwini Vaishnav. On which the present Railway Minister of the Government of India, Shri Ashwini Vaishnav ji, after taking the above memorandum, took immediate decision and issued an order to extend the Kamayani Express which runs daily from Mumbai to Varanasi to Ballia, which is the biggest festival of Chhath for Bhojpuri society.
Apart from Bhopal, thousands of officials and members of Bhojpuri society living in Mandideep, Sehore, Raisen participated in the program. Laxman Giri, Santosh Parihar, DS Shukla, Sunil Singh were among those who addressed the program on this occasion. Rajkumar ji, Mamta Rai were present. Officials and members of various organizations of Bhojpuri society also participated prominently in the program in which Rajeshwar Singh, Shivji Singh, Anil Rai, G.D. Singh, Jitendra Singh Sengar, Meera Singh, Khushboo Singh, Rahul Dubey, Ram Pratap Singh etc. were present. The program was conducted by Pankaj Thakur and vote of thanks was given by Gangasagar Yadav.
