Bhopal: BHEL Shiksha Mandal celebrated Teachers’ Day with great zeal and splendour at the BHEL Cultural Hall, Bhopal. The event was graced by Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, General Manager and Head of Unit, BHEL Bhopal, and Patron-in-Chief of BHEL Shiksha Mandal, as the Chief Guest. Rosy Upadhyay, President, BHEL Ladies Club, attended as the Special Guest.
In his address, Upadhyay congratulated teachers and lauded their pivotal role in education, society, and nation-building. Earlier, HR Patel, General Manager (SCR) and President of BSM, welcomed the gathering and extended warm greetings to all present.
The programme witnessed the presence of senior BHEL officials, members of the Ladies Club, principals, heads of institutions, vice principals, teachers, and staff of BSM institutions. Retired teachers and those who had rendered over 15 years of service were honoured, while eight teachers received the Excellence Award for their outstanding contributions.
Students from Jawaharlal Nehru School (Primary and Senior Wings), Vikram Higher Secondary School, and Kasturba College of Nursing presented vibrant cultural performances that won appreciation from the audience.
The ceremony concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by P. K. Jha, Secretary, BSM, marking the event as a fitting tribute to teachers’ dedication and service.
