Bhopal: The 181st quarterly meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee was held on Tuesday at BHEL, Bhopal, under the chairmanship of Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, Executive Director and Chairman of the committee. The meeting was attended by T.U. Singh, General Manager (HR), all General Managers/DROs and Arif Ahmed Siddiqui, Additional General Manager (HR).
Addressing the meeting, Upadhyay emphasised that accelerating the implementation of the official language was a collective responsibility. He said language serves as a powerful medium for the progress of any nation or institution and deserves due respect. He also stressed the need to document technical work and notable departmental achievements in the unit’s magazine and to create a consolidated database for future reference.
On the occasion, Upadhyay released BHEL Bhopal’s prestigious in-house e-magazine Manas-Manjari, Volume 36, Issue 1 (2025-26). Earlier, Poonam Sahu, Manager (HR–Official Language), presented a report on key quarterly activities related to official language implementation.
