Bhopal: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has paid a final dividend of Rs109.98 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2024–25, reflecting the company’s steady financial performance.
A cheque towards the final dividend on the Government of India’s equity holding of 63.17 per cent in BHEL was formally presented to H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel, by K. Sadashiv Murthy, Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL. The presentation took place in the presence of Kamran Rizvi, Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries.
Directors on the Board of BHEL and senior officials from the Ministry of Heavy Industries were also present during the occasion, underscoring the importance of the contribution made by the public sector enterprise.
Significantly, the total dividend paid by BHEL to all its shareholders for the financial year 2024–25 stands at Rs174.10 crore. The dividend payout highlights BHEL’s continued commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders while supporting the national exchequer through sustained financial discipline and operational efficiency.
