Bhopal: A three-day CNC Maintenance Training Programme for BHEL employees from various maintenance departments was organised at the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Vishwakarma Hall. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, T.U. Singh, General Manager (HR), who presided over the opening session.
Addressing the participants, Singh said the training would help enhance their working efficiency, provide a platform to share challenges faced during maintenance activities, and contribute towards reducing obstacles in effective task execution. He appreciated HRDC’s initiative, stating that such programmes strengthen BHEL’s work culture and should be utilised by all employees. He also emphasised that the training would play a crucial role in minimising machine breakdown time and maintaining the accuracy of CNC machines.
During the programme, Sachin Jain, Senior Manager (EMX), provided practical and in-depth insights into CNC machines and their maintenance to the 16 participating employees. Over the three days, participants interacted with experienced senior officers of BHEL, sharing maintenance-related issues and receiving expert guidance.
Invited senior officers included Manish Thakur, Additional General Manager (FEX), H.K. Baghel, Additional General Manager (FCX), Ramesh Chandra, Senior Deputy General Manager (FHX), Bhupendra Mishra, Senior Manager (EMX), and Rakesh Dalal, Manager (EMX), who engaged in detailed technical discussions on CNC maintenance.
At the conclusion of the programme, Kirti Singh, Manager (HRDC), thanked the participants, sought feedback, and urged them to translate the learning into tangible outcomes within their respective departments. HRDC Head Surekha Banchhor encouraged wider participation in future training initiatives, stressing the importance of constructive feedback to make such programmes more meaningful and sustainable.
