BHEL organises 2-day CSR health camp

Bhopal: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, BHEL Bhopal organised a two-day medical and health awareness camp at the Government Secondary School in Jhagaria village, Phanda (Rural) development block of Bhopal district. The camp aimed at improving healthcare access and promoting healthy lifestyles among rural residents.

Specialist doctors conducted comprehensive health check-ups during the medical camp and distributed free medicines to villagers. Alongside this, a health awareness programme was held, where participants were educated on maintaining good health, the importance of yoga and pranayama, and preventive healthcare practices. Free nutritious food was also distributed as part of the initiative.

The camp was organised under the guidance of General Manager (HR) T.U. Singh and General Manager (Medical Services) Dr Pomela Sachdev. Several senior BHEL officials, medical professionals from Kasturba Hospital, and the school principal Manisha Kashmiri were ‘present, reflecting BHEL’s continued commitment to community welfare and rural development.
