Bhopal: The Transformer Division of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Bhopal has successfully manufactured and dispatched the first transformer of the financial year 2025-26 from its New Transformer block. This transformer has been manufactured for the project site of Powergrid, the country’s leading power transmission company, located in Ahmedabad.
The manufacturing and testing of the transformer was completed in the presence of Powergrid officials at the BHEL Bhopal campus, setting another example of quality and reliability.
In a ceremony organized on this occasion, Shri P.K. Upadhyay, General Manager and Head, BHEL, Bhopal flagged off the transformer and appreciated the efforts of the transformer manufacturing team and called it a symbol of excellent technical skill and commitment of BHEL Bhopal.
General Manager Shri Rupesh Telang, Shri S.K. Mahajan, Shri G.P. Baghel, Shri Vipul Agarwal, all other General Managers and senior officers of the Transformer Division were also present on the occasion.
BHEL Bhopal, a leading power equipment manufacturing unit in the country, has once again reinforced its commitment towards quality products and timely delivery.
