Bhopal, In a move to modernize internal communication, BHEL Bhopal has unveiled a newly developed, state-of-the-art digital Telephone Directory. Developed jointly by the ICT and DTG departments, the new system promises to enhance accessibility and streamline user experience for employees across the organization.
The directory was officially inaugurated today by Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, General Manager & Head of BHEL, Bhopal. Present at the launch were senior officials including Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, GM (SOM), Gautam Majumdar, GM (CMG, PMG, CC & DTG), H K Patil, Additional GM (ICT) and S N Shrivastava, Additional GM (DTG).
Speaking on the occasion, Upadhyay emphasized the importance of an effective communication system in improving organizational productivity. He urged all officers and employees to make full use of the new directory’s features.
One of the key innovations of the new directory is the inclusion of individual QR codes for each employee. These QR codes, when scanned with a mobile phone, allow users to directly call, save contacts, or share details—bringing a modern and mobile-friendly solution to internal communication.
