Bhopal: S. M. Ramanathan, Director (Engineering, Research & Development), BHEL, inaugurated the Quality Month through video conferencing on Saturday. On this occasion, he also launched ‘BHELMAC’, an online tracking app, with a special focus on its implementation at the Bhopal unit. This year’s theme is “Collaborate, Innovate, Excel – Shaping a Quality Future Together.”
In his address, Ramanathan highlighted the importance of teamwork, continuous innovation, and a commitment to excellence in delivering quality products and services. He emphasised that building a quality-driven future is a collective responsibility and that through sustained collaboration and dedication, BHEL can become even stronger. By adopting proactive planning, effective problem-solving, and results-oriented thinking, he said, the company can ensure that all customer commitments are fulfilled with excellence.
During the meeting, Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, General Manager and Unit Head, BHEL Bhopal, reviewed the planned activities for Quality Month and briefed participants about the implementation of the ‘BHELMAC’ app at the Bhopal unit.
Also present on the occasion were T. U. Singh, General Manager (Human Resources), along with all General Managers, DROs, and Heads of Departments from the Quality Division.
The initiative marks another step by BHEL towards reinforcing its commitment to innovation, quality assurance, and collaborative excellence across its units.
