Bhopal: The Ladies Educational Welfare Wing of BHEL organised a distribution drive in the Annanagar area, where Ladies Club president Rosy Upadhyay distributed blankets to needy women sanitation workers.
Addressing the gathering, Rosy Upadhyay said that the club actively promotes social bonding among its members while organising various programmes in line with Indian cultural values. She highlighted that several training courses are conducted to help women and children become self-reliant and economically independent.
She further stated that the club continues to undertake a range of welfare initiatives through its various wings, aimed at uplifting weaker and economically disadvantaged sections of society. These efforts, she added, reflect the organisation’s commitment to social responsibility and community development.
The event also witnessed the presence of vice-president Lalita Chatterjee, secretary Manju Shauri and treasurer Veena Barnwal, who participated in the distribution programme and interacted with the beneficiaries.
The initiative was appreciated by local residents, who acknowledged the club’s continued efforts in supporting underprivileged communities and promoting inclusive growth through meaningful outreach activities.
