BHEL hosts Hindi Month Quiz Competition

Bhopal: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal, organised a lively Quiz Competition as part of Hindi Month 2025 celebrations. The event, centred on subjects such as General Knowledge, History and Geography, witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees across different departments.

A total of 106 participants were shortlisted for the initial round, while the main competition was held between six principal teams and eight challenger groups, selected through a lucky draw.

Rupesh Telang, General Manager (TCB, Manufacturing, Commercial and Maintenance), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he praised the employees’ enthusiasm, remarking that “winning is secondary, participation itself is an achievement.”

AK Gupta, Additional General Manager (STM), likened the competition to “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, encouraging employees to expand their knowledge through such platforms. Arif Ahmed Siddiqui, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), reflected that life is surrounded by questions, and this competition provides an opportunity to embrace them rather than avoid them.

The panel of judges included Ajay Arya, Additional General Manager (HME), Shailendra Kumar Pandey, Senior Manager (HME), and Kundan Maheshwari, Senior Manager (HME). The programme was conducted by Poonam Sahu, Manager (Rajbhasa), who also proposed the vote of thanks.
