Bhopal, The Digital Transformation Group (DTG) of BHEL Bhopal has been conferred the prestigious Indian Express PSE (Public Sector Enterprises) IT Excellence Award 2025 in two key categories: Enterprise Applications and Document Management. The awards were presented by distinguished leaders from the IT fraternity during the India PSE Summit held in Hyderabad on 25 th April 2025.
At the unit level, Shri P.K. Upadhyay, Executive Director, BHEL Bhopal, formally presented the award to the DTG team on 30th April 2025, in the presence of Shri Gautam Majumdar, General Manager (CMG, PMG, CC & DTG), during a felicitation ceremony held at BHEL Bhopal.
The Indian Express PSE Excellence Awards recognize Government departments, Agencies, and Institutions that demonstrate exemplary use of technology—either through the deployment of entirely new solutions or the innovative adaptation of existing systems—to deliver tangible benefits to stakeholders. These may include operational improvements, enhanced customer responsiveness, competitive differentiation, or financial gains.
This year, the awards received over 300 nominations from leading IT organizations, professionals, start-ups, and practitioners across India. BHEL Bhopal’s nomination was meticulously evaluated by an eminent jury comprising seasoned and respected technology experts, who adjudged it as one of the finest entries in a highly competitive field.
