Bhopal: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal, celebrated BHEL Day on Wednesday with the hoisting of the BHEL flag at the Hydro Lab complex. The ceremony was led by Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, Executive Director, BHEL Bhopal, in the presence of senior officials, CISF representatives, trade union members and a large number of employees.
Addressing the gathering, Upadhyay said BHEL has earned a distinct identity in the industrial sector due to its engineering excellence, experienced workforce and strong professional values. He highlighted the Bhopal unit’s exemplary record of industrial harmony and teamwork, urging employees to continue working with dedication and timely excellence to take the organisation to greater heights. He also administered the BHEL Day pledge.
General Manager T U Singh described the occasion as a double celebration of the New Year and BHEL Day, expressing confidence in a bright future for the organisation.
After the programme, Upadhyay visited various factory blocks, offices, township administration and Kasturba Hospital, extending New Year greetings to employees and medical staff.
