Bhopal: The six-day Horizon Programme-II, organised for newly promoted Assistant Engineers and Assistant Officers at BHEL Bhopal, drew to a close with a formal ceremony led by General Manager (Human Resources) T.U. Singh. The programme, held in June 2025, aimed at strengthening professional discipline, leadership qualities and workplace efficiency among the newly elevated batch. Additional General Manager (HRD) Surekha Banchhor was also present during the concluding session.
Addressing the participants, Singh underscored the value of discipline as a cornerstone of effective professional conduct. He remarked that disciplined behaviour not only shapes personal performance but also encourages teams to work with accountability and commitment. He stressed maintaining zero tolerance in the areas of quality, corruption and safety, describing them as non-negotiable standards for any responsible engineering organisation.
Singh further reminded participants that the true outcome of such training can be realised only when they translate new learning into tangible improvements in their respective work domains.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to all 35 participants, recognising their successful completion of the programme. The session was conducted by Manager (HRD) Kirti Singh, who also proposed the vote of thanks.
