BHEL commemorates Nehru’s birth anniversary with enthusiasm

Bhopal: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal, celebrated the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, with great enthusiasm on Thursday. The ceremony was graced by Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, General Manager and Unit Head, who attended as the Chief Guest. Also present were Sh. Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, General Manager (SOM) and President of BHECNIS; Ashish Aurangabadkar, General Manager (WEX & MOD) and Vice-President of BHECNIS; T.U. Singh, General Manager (Human Resources); Shivratan Singh Meena, Senior Commandant, CISF; various General Managers; trade union representatives; and a large number of employees.

Participants paid homage to Pandit Nehru by garlanding his bust located near the CISF Commandant’s Office and the HRDC building. The event reflected a strong sense of respect for Nehru’s legacy and contributions to modern India.

Addressing the gathering, Upadhyay emphasised the importance of diligence, integrity, and timely delivery in ensuring the continued growth of the factory. He noted that the work ethic and commitment of BHEL Bhopal’s employees serve as a benchmark in the industry. He urged everyone to remain fully dedicated and to strive to meet organisational goals without delay.
