BHEL Bhopal to celebrate Vishwakarma puja with security protocols

Bhopal: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal, will celebrate Vishwakarma Puja on 17 September 2025 at its factory premises. Employees and their family members will be granted entry on production of their identity cards (smart cards) along with medical booklets, in accordance with the listed family details. Contract labourers, along with their spouses and children, will also be permitted entry on the basis of their identity cards and ESI cards. Entry will be allowed through gates 1, 5, and 6. The factory will remain open from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Retired employees who are members of BHEL–RECHS can enter through gates 1 and 6 by presenting their photo medical booklets along with Aadhaar cards. The management has strictly prohibited the entry of explosives, weapons, tape recorders, transistors, handbags, cameras, binoculars, and mobile phones with cameras inside the factory premises.

This year’s tableau will be based on the theme: “Attack on Imports, Expansion of Swadeshi – Foundation of Self-Reliant India.” Visitors will not be permitted in sensitive areas such as the UHV Laboratory, Gas and Power Plant, Flammable Stores, CIT Department, Computer Building, Telephone Exchange, Administrative Block, Hydro Laboratory, Control Gear Laboratory, CET Laboratory, Testing Laboratory, Annexes, and the Electroplating Shop.
