Bhargav assumes charge of MP Congress Seva Dal

Bhopal: In a dignified ceremony held on Wednesday at the Madhya Pradesh Congress headquarters, Indira Bhavan, newly appointed Chief Organiser of the MP Congress Seva Dal, Avneesh Bhargav, formally assumed office. The event took place in the presence of MP Congress in-charge Harish Chaudhary and Pradesh Congress Committee president Jeetu Patwari.

A large number of senior Congress leaders and party workers attended the ceremony. Among those present were Deputy Leader of the Opposition Hemant Katare, former ministers Sajjan Singh Verma and P.C. Sharma, MLA Arif Masood, AICC national secretary Kunal Chaudhary, organisation general secretary Sanjay Kamble, MPCC vice-president Mahendra Joshi, former Seva Dal chief organiser Yogesh Yadav, MPCC general secretary Shailendra Patel, and Bhopal Rural District Congress president Anokhi Patel, along with several other office-bearers.

The day began with a flag-salutation ceremony in the Indira Bhavan premises, marking Constitution Day. The observance included flag hoisting, salute, and the singing of the national anthem and national song. This was followed by a Constitution Day march from Indira Bhavan to the statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar at Board Office Square. During the march, participants pledged to uphold and spread the core values of the Constitution—social justice, equality and fraternity.

During the main event that followed, Avneesh Bhargav, upon taking charge, pledged to strengthen the Seva Dal at the booth level and to expand organisational and training activities across the State. Concluding the ceremony, Congress leaders reaffirmed their commitment to protecting democratic values and advancing the fight for the rights of the common people.
