- Major Diversions for State Foundation Day Event
Bhopal: Commuters across the city should anticipate significant traffic diversions and parking restrictions on November 1, 2025, due to the massive cultural program celebrating Madhya Pradesh’s Foundation Day (Sthapana Diwas) at the Lal Parade Ground. City Traffic Police have announced arrangements to manage the large expected crowds and ensure smooth movement.
Vehicle Diversions (From 6:00 PM)
General traffic will be diverted away from the Lal Parade Ground area starting at 6:00 PM.
From Court Square: Vehicles heading toward the ground must use Link Road No. 1, passing through Roshanpura, Ban Ganga, and Polytechnic Square.
From Bharat Talkies: Traffic moving towards New Bhopal will be rerouted via Jinsi Square, Maida Mill Road, and Board Office Square, utilizing Link Road No. 1 or 2.
From Roshanpura (To Old Bhopal): Vehicles should travel via Ban Ganga, Polytechnic Square, Retghat, Moti Masjid, and Royal Market.
Note for Attendees: Those coming from Old Bhopal may travel via Royal Market, Moti Masjid, Retghat, Polytechnic Square, and Gandhi Park to reach the venue.
