Bhopal: A special session for young cricketers was organized on Saturday at Centurion Cricket Academy, Bhopal, where renowned cricket coach Gautam Vaswani shared insights on how players can strengthen themselves both mentally and physically.
Gautam Vaswani recently completed the BCCI Level-1 Coaching Course from Coaching Beyond Institute in Chennai, under the mentorship of former India captain Ravi Shastri and former Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun.
During the session, Vaswani emphasized not only the technical aspects of the game but also the importance of mental balance, confidence, and discipline. He said, “The real test of a cricketer is not on the field, but in the mind. If the mind is strong, performance naturally improves.”
Vaswani is currently training young cricketers at Centurion Cricket Academy, Bhopal, with the goal of guiding emerging players from Madhya Pradesh to reach the national level.
The session was attended by academy directors Abhinav Raisa, Mohsin Hasan, and mentor Faisal Meer.
