New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced a 15-member India A squad for two warm-up matches ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Ayush Badoni named captain of the side.
India A will face the USA on February 2 in their first warm-up fixture before taking on Namibia on February 6 as part of the preparatory games for the global tournament.
One of the notable inclusions in the squad is Tilak Varma, who is also part of India’s senior squad for the T20 World Cup. The left-hander was recently sidelined after undergoing surgery, but has been named in the India A setup as he continues his return to competitive cricket.
Meanwhile, the senior Indian men’s team will also play a warm-up match as part of their World Cup build-up, facing South Africa on February 4.
