Bhopal: A tragic incident has shaken the city of Bhopal, where a 19-year-old BA student from MLB College died by suicide. The student, identified as Surbhi Sondhiya, was found hanging in her home in Gwal Mohalla by her mother late yesterday evening.
Surbhi, who was the only child of her late father Vinod Sondhiya, lived with her mother. According to ASI Umesh Kumar of the Arera Hills police station, her mother found the door locked from the inside upon returning home. After breaking it down, she discovered Surbhi. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and police have registered a case to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
Unidentified man found dead on railway tracks
In a separate incident, an unidentified man was found dead on the railway tracks near Bhanpur. Chhola Mandir police reported that they discovered the body last night. While the man’s identity remains unknown, he is believed to be around 30 years old. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, and police are currently working to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death.
